Favorite Granola
In a large bowl, mix together:
4 c. rolled oats, old fashioned
1 c. sliced almonds, raw
1/4 c. pumpkin seeds, raw
1/4 c. sunflower seeds, raw
Optional additions:
3 T. hemp seeds
2 T. shredded coconut
In a small bowl, mix together:
1/2 c. applesauce*
1/2 c. agave
1/2 c. pure maple syrup
4 t. vanilla
1/2 t. salt, optional
2 t. cinnamon
Combine the wet and dry ingredients together and spread on a large cookie sheet that has been lined with parchment paper. Bake at 325 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and stir. Bake an additional 10 minutes. Stir. Bake for about 7 minutes more. Let cool and then store in an airtight container.
*This yummy granola can be made without any oil but if oil is not a problem in your diet, and you are wanting more crunch, use 1/4 c. applesauce and 1/4 c. olive oil)
